Introductory kit includes discovery flight and EAA membership, plus much
more
EAA AVIATION CENTER, OSHKOSH, Wis. - (July 25, 2010) -
Prospective pilots can begin to fulfill their aviation dreams with The
Flight ExperienceTM, an all-encompassing introductory kit recently
developed through a collaboration between EAA and Sporty's Pilot Shop of
Batavia, Ohio, the "World's Largest Pilot Shop" and leading developer of
aviation education programs.
The Flight ExperienceTM kit is designed to serve as a pathway to
participation in aviation through an enjoyable and informative flight
experience with a certified flight instructor. For only $139,
individuals receive a certificate for a discovery flight redeemable at
one of more than 1,000 flight schools across the United States as well
as a six-month EAA membership, plus many more items welcoming them to
the thrilling world of flight.

needed throughout the process of becoming a pilot," said Tom Poberezny,

necessary resources that will help future pilots succeed and have fun in
pursuit of their aviation dreams."
In addition to the discovery flight and EAA membership, the kit
includes subscription to EAA Sport Aviation magazine, two-hour learn to
fly video, pilot logbook and Cessna 182 cockpit poster. A listing of

booth (#4128, 4129 and 4130) on July 26-August 1. It will also available

In April 2009, EAA and Sporty's began a collaboration offering
Sporty's Online Pilot Training Course free to all EAA Young Eagles.
Through this program, young people who receive an inspirational and
educational introduction to personal flight via the EAA Young Eagles
Program also receive from Sporty's the tools they'll need to take the
next steps in pursuing their interest in aviation.
